Neste Oil Rally Finland 2009

Events for your summer diary:

1)Jyväskylä Arts Festival, rightly regarded as the mother of all city festivals in Finland, will this time be staged 13.-18.7. This is an event where music and non-verbal theatre enjoy a central role. Bring the whole family along!

2) Repeatedly singled out for praise internationally, the Finnish round of the World Rally Championship, Neste Oil Rally Finland, will be staged at the end of July for the 60th time. The atmosphere at this centenary event is sure to be in a league of its own! Book your accommodation well in advance!

3) Summer is a particularly good time for fans of music. Sataman Yö – harbour night festival and market, staged in June, Kihveli Soikoon, the skiffle festival organised in July, and Jyväskylä Rock in August provide a bumper offering involving talented musicians from home and abroad.

4) Jyväskylä is Finland’s City of light. In September the latest illuminated locations are unveiled!
